This is where the K-Mini is weakest. We found more early-failure reports than for the other kitchen products we've reviewed, and complaints about slowing down or cooling off over time. It's not universal (plenty of owners are still happy), but it's why we don't give it a Repeat for heavy daily use.

Not a removable one. You pour in fresh water, 6 to 12 oz, before each brew.
Why is my K-Mini coffee not hot?
Lab tests measured brew temperatures of 180–189°F, which is below the ideal for coffee. Brewing a water-only cycle first to warm the machine and mug can help.
How long does a Keurig K-Mini last?
It varies. Many owners are still using theirs, but we found more reports of units failing within months than for most kitchen products we review. Registering it for warranty is a good idea.
Can I use ground coffee?
Only with a reusable K-Cup filter. It's designed for K-Cup pods.
What's a good alternative if I don't want to refill every cup?
